Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is surgery which alters the shape of the upper or lower eyelid.  It is a very commonly performed procedure and can create a more youthful appearance.  Many times the eyelids may be saggy, especially in the elderly which can interfere with the field of vision.  Eyelid surgery can improve this in many cases.

Above is shown the incision areas for blepharoplasty.  The lower lid procedure is designed to remove the "bags" or excess fat from the lower eyelids.
